Documents Required for Application
  • A copy of the high school diploma or graduation certificate, certified by a notary in Turkey or a Consulate in the applicant’s country (with Turkish translation).
  • A copy of the transcript (official transcript showing the applicant’s high school courses and grades, certified by the high school principal) and its Turkish translation, certified by a notary in Turkey or a Consulate in the applicant’s country.
  • For applicants whose secondary school GPA is not included on the high school diploma/graduation certificate and/or transcript, an official document showing the secondary school GPA from the high school they graduated from, certified by a notary in Turkey or a Consulate in the applicant’s country (with Turkish translation).
  • A copy of the passport page showing their photograph and identification information.
  • A copy of the TR-YÖS exam result document and/or a document that meets any of the criteria listed below, certified by a notary in Turkey or a Consulate in the applicant’s country (with Turkish translation).
  • A minimum total score of 1000 to 1100 on the SAT I exam, depending on the department to which the applicant will apply (the exam is valid for two years).
  • A level scores in at least three subjects, at least one of which is relevant to the program applied for, on the GCE (General Certificate of Education-A level), with an average grade of C or above in each subject.
  • A level scores in the ACT exam: A minimum score of 24 in Math, Science Reasoning, and Composite.
  • An average score of at least 90 in all subjects in the Scientific Stream on the Tawjihi exams administered in Jordan and Palestine.
  • A minimum diploma score of 70 in the Scientific Stream on the Baccalaureate (Baccalaureat Libanais) exam administered in Lebanon.
  • An International Baccalaureate diploma with a diploma score of at least 28 to 32, depending on the department to be applied for.
  • An individual who has won a gold, silver, or bronze medal in an international science olympiad recognized and participated in by TÜBİTAK.
  • A maximum score of 4 on the ABİTUR exam.
  • An average score of at least 490 out of 750 in the Gaokao exam (university entrance exam) administered in the People’s Republic of China in the score type of the program being applied for.
  • An average score of at least 490 out of 750 in the university entrance exam (Gaokao) administered in Syria. A minimum score of 190 out of 240 on the Al-Shahada-Al-Thanawiyya (Baccalaureate) Exam for departments accepting students with numerical and equal weighting, and a minimum score of 175 for other departments.
  • A minimum score of 195 for Engineering and Science Faculty departments and a minimum score of 185 for other departments on the Al-Shada-Al-Thanawiyya (Baccalaureate) Exam in Libya.
  • In Iran, a minimum average high school diploma (Diplome Debirestan) of 12/20 and a minimum final grade of 12/20 on the Pişdaneşgahi (Pişdaneşgahi) exam.
  • A minimum score of 40% or more of the full score on the Greek University Entrance Exam.
  • A minimum score of 50% or more of the full score on the Macedonian University Entrance Exam.
  • A minimum score of 40% or more of the full score on the Kosovo University Entrance Exam.
  • A minimum score of 40% or more of the full score on the French University Entrance Exam. A baccalaureate diploma with a minimum diploma grade of 12.
  • ONO: High School Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 40 points on the 100-point system. Applicants must possess a national high school graduation or maturity exam certificate from international exams or countries. Applicants from countries where these exams are not administered must possess an official document showing their secondary school GPA, approved by the relevant high school principal.
  • A minimum score of 60 points on the Ujian Akhir National exam administered in Indonesia is mandatory for those who have lost their Turkish citizenship by obtaining permission from the Ministry of the Interior to relinquish their Turkish citizenship, those who can prove they hold a blue card, which is issued to those who have lost their Turkish citizenship upon request, and those with dual Turkish citizenship who completed their entire high school education abroad (excluding TRNC high schools).
  • YGS/LYS/YKS: For international applicants; A minimum score of 140 for associate degree programs and 180 for undergraduate programs on the Transition to Higher Education Exam/Undergraduate Placement Exam/Higher Education Institutions Exam administered by ÖSYM.
  • Possess documentation that meets other criteria not listed here and that will be accepted by the International Student Admissions Committee.
Documents Required For Enrollment
  • The original high school diploma and its original translation, issued and certified by a Turkish Embassies or Turkish Notaries.
  • An “Equivalence Certificate,” which demonstrates the high school diploma’s equivalence to diplomas obtained from Turkish high schools and can be obtained from directorates affiliated with the Turkish Ministry of National Education or Turkish Embassies in their home countries. (This is mandatory for those who were Turkish citizens by birth under the Turkish Citizenship Law but lost their Turkish citizenship by obtaining permission from the Ministry of Interior to relinquish their citizenship, those who can prove they hold a Blue Card, issued upon request to those who lost their citizenship, and those with dual Turkish citizenship and Turkish citizenship who completed their entire high school education in high schools abroad (excluding TRNC high schools).)
  • The original transcript (an official transcript showing the candidate’s high school courses and grades, certified by the high school principal) and its original translation, issued and certified by a Turkish Embassies or Turkish Notaries.
  • The original copy of the candidate’s university entrance or high school graduation exam result document and its original translation, issued and certified by a Turkish Embassies or Turkish Notaries.
  • The original TR-YÖS exam result document.
  • A photocopy of the passport, along with the presentation of the applicant’s passport.
  • A financial status document and/or a written statement from the student demonstrating that their financial means are sufficient to pursue higher education in our country.
  • A bank receipt confirming that the tuition fee/contribution fee has been deposited into the relevant bank.
  • The original or a certified copy of the Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate.
  • The original document (Original Document) for Entry/Exit to the Country (For students who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey and completed their high school education abroad).
  • A document issued by the Social Security Institution confirming that they have General Health Insurance (GSS) in accordance with the relevant articles of Social Security and General Health Insurance Law No. 5510.
