  • Foreign nationals,

  • Those who were Turkish citizens by birth but later received permission from the Ministry of Interior to renounce their Turkish citizenship,
    and their minor children registered in the renunciation document, provided that they certify they hold a Document Regarding the Use of Recognized Rights under the Turkish Citizenship Law.
    (Note: Article 7 of Law No. 5901 on Turkish Citizenship states: “(1) A child born to a Turkish citizen mother or father within a legal marriage, whether inside or outside Turkey, is a Turkish citizen.” Therefore, it is recommended that applicants for international quotas review the relevant provisions of the Citizenship Law.)

  • Individuals who have acquired Turkish citizenship later (originally foreign nationals),
    and those with dual citizenship in this category,

  • Turkish citizens who have completed their entire secondary education (high school) in a foreign country (excluding the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus – TRNC),
    including those who completed their entire high school education at Turkish schools in a foreign country (excluding TRNC),

  • TRNC citizens who reside in TRNC and have completed their entire secondary education in TRNC, and who possess GCE AL examination results,

  • TRNC citizens who enrolled in and received education from high schools and colleges in other countries between 2005 and 2010, and who possess or will possess GCE AL examination results.

  • Turkish citizens who have completed their entire secondary education (high school) in Turkey or in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC),

  • TRNC citizens,
    (excluding those who have completed their entire secondary education in TRNC high schools and have GCE AL examination results, and those who enrolled in and received education from high schools and colleges in other countries between 2005 and 2010 and possess or will possess GCE AL results),

  • Dual nationals whose first nationality at birth is Turkish,
    (excluding those who completed their entire secondary education in a foreign country other than TRNC or in Turkish schools located in a foreign country other than TRNC),

  • Dual nationals, one of whose nationalities is TRNC,
    (excluding those who completed their entire secondary education in TRNC high schools and have GCE AL examination results, and those who enrolled in and received education from high schools and colleges in other countries between 2005 and 2010 and possess or will possess GCE AL results),

  • Applicants who are Turkish citizens or dual nationals whose first nationality at birth is Turkish (as defined in Article 1, Paragraph (b)),
    and who have received their education in schools affiliated with embassies in Turkey or in foreign high schools located in Turkey.

All application and registration dates are announced on the official website of our University. Students must complete their applications online within the dates announced.

  • A printed and wet-signed copy of the online application form,

  • The original high school diploma along with an original Turkish translation approved by either Turkish Embassies or Turkish Notary Publics,

  • A Certificate of Equivalence, issued by directorates affiliated with the Turkish Ministry of National Education or Turkish Embassies in the applicant’s home country, which confirms that the high school diploma is equivalent to diplomas obtained from Turkish high schools.
    (This is mandatory for: those who were Turkish citizens by birth but lost their citizenship by obtaining permission from the Ministry of Interior, and who certify their Blue Card status; dual nationals one of whose nationalities is Turkish and who have completed their entire high school education in a foreign country other than TRNC; and Turkish citizens educated entirely abroad except in TRNC.)

  • An official transcript, approved by the high school, showing the courses taken and grades received, along with a notarized Turkish translation of this transcript, either from a Turkish notary or from the Consulate in the applicant’s country,

  • The original copy of the university entrance exam result or high school graduation examination result, together with an original Turkish translation approved by Turkish Embassies or Turkish Notary Publics,

  • The original TR-YÖS exam result certificate,

  • A copy of the passport, submitted together with the original passport for verification,

  • A financial statement and/or a written declaration by the student proving sufficient financial means to pursue higher education in Turkey
    (For the 2025–2026 Academic Year: minimum 055–TRY),

  • The original or an approved copy of a Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate,

  • Residence permit
    (To be submitted by students who possess a Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate and are starting their education. It must be obtained from the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management using the student certificate. This document is not required for those who do not have a proficiency certificate or who are considered on leave for any reason.)
