Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Şakir Taşdemir, visited TÜRKSOY Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf as part of his official meetings in Ankara aimed at enhancing the national and international visibility of our University.
Our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Sabri Bilgin, Our Office Vice Coordinatör, Dr. Merve Feryal Ashmavy and Melik Özsöz, Head of the Strategy Development Department at TÜRKSOY, also attended the meeting. During the visit, the parties discussed potential areas of collaboration and joint initiatives between Sinop University and TÜRKSOY.
The meeting emphasized the importance of ongoing efforts to preserve, sustain, and pass on the shared cultural heritage of the Turkic World to future generations. The participants also exchanged views on the contributions of universities to scientific research and the preservation of cultural heritage.
